SARAH BRINKLEY

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Sarah Kyles Brinkley, 85, of DeKalb, Texas, died Sunday, May 20, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Brinkley was born Dec. 24, 1932, in New Boston. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, H.A. "Gus" Brinkley of New Boston; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Nick Thomas of DeKalb; four sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Aida Sanford of LaPorte, Texas, James and Jenny Sanford of Redwater, Texas, Kenneth Sanford of Texarkana, Texas, and Ronnie Sanford; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pulaski Cemetery with Leo Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
