AMERLEAN WISHUM

Amerlean Marie Wishum, 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, May 18, 2018, in a Rowlett, Texas, hospital. Mrs. Wishum was born Jan. 13, 1938, in Texarkana. She was a teacher's aide, cosmetologist and a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Jacquelyn and Lesley Nelson of Texarkana, Joyce Sims of Garland, Texas, and Margaret Pugh of Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, Arthur Witcher of Texarkana; four sisters, Betty Hunter and Annie James of Texarkana, Mary Jones of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dessie Benton of Henderson, Texas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church with the Rev. T.J. Roberson officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
