CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Dorothy Lee Dawson, 85, of Negley community, Texas, died Friday, May 25, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Dawson was born Feb. 25, 1933, in Garvin, Okla. She was a member of Leesville Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James Dawson. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and W.R. Freeman and Trina Keys and Johnnie Pree of Clarksville; three grandchildren and one spouse, Lee Bland and Cody Lee of Gatesville, Texas, and Luke Bland and Parker Freeman of Clarksville; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Online registration is at clarksvillefuneralhome.com.
