HELEN MONTGOMERY

NAPLES, Texas—Helen Amelia Montgomery, 94, of Omaha, Texas, died Thursday, May 24, 2018, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Mrs. Montgomery was born April 7, 1924, in Washington D.C. She was a retired telephone operator and a member of Texas Association of Hospital Auxiliaries and Concord Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Montgomery, in 1979. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William L. and Jennifer Weisbacker; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra L. and Charles "Cliff" Van Horn; three grandchildren and two spouses, Shawn Avery Weisbacker, Kenneth and Cathy Van Horn and Danny and Stephanie Van Horn; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Concord Missionary Baptist Church, Omaha, with the Rev. Nolan Richey, Tim Anderson and Glenn Griffith officiating under direction of Harrison Funeral Home.
