JOE BOBO

HOPE, Ark.—Joe Frank Bobo, 88, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, in Hot Springs. Mr. Bobo was born Dec. 14, 1929, in Hope. He was a retired service installer at South-western Bell and a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Bobo. Survivors include his wife, Alma Dean Bobo of Longview, Texas; one daughter, Shelia Peters of Hot Springs; two brothers, Guy Manning Bobo and the Rev. Kenneth Maynard Bobo of Hope; one sister, Joyce June Luker of Hope; three grandchildren, Lindsay Bobo Ingram, Patrick Bobo and Steva Bobo Finch; one special friend, John Hopkins of Hope; seven great-grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery with Glen Tropp, Jay Pollan and the Rev. Kenneth Bobo.
