Don E Foster
DeKALB, Texas—Don E. Foster, 78, of DeKalb, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, in a local nursing home.
Mr. Foster was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Hughes Springs, Texas. He was a band director at DeKalb High School, an electrician and a member of First Baptist Church, DeKalb. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Justin Foster.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Foster of DeKalb; one son, Monty Foster of DeKalb; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Price Hamilton and Kelli and Gary Fannin of DeKalb; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Ann Morgan of Texarkana, Texas, Sue and Ray Koon of Hot Springs, Ark., and Edna Burgerson of Lone Star, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, DeKalb, with Robby Bates officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
