DeKALB, Texas—Charles Ray Clark, 83, of New Boston, Texas, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at his home. Mr. Clark was born June 24, 1935, in Gilmer, Texas. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brittney Tice. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Stephanie Clark of New Boston; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Howard Evans of New Boston; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. today at Bates Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery. Online registration is at batesfamilyfuneralhome.com.
