L.C. WILLIAMS

L.C. Williams, 69, formerly of Hooks, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Williams was born May 16, 1949, in Hooks. He was employed with Texas High School. Survivors include six daughters, Renea Trevino and Tammie Mcmillan of Dallas and Vanessa Williams, Tameka Williams, Angela Williams and Natalie Williams of Texarkana; his mother, Lula Mae Dodd of Texarkana; three brothers, Leroy Dodd Sr. and Robert Dodd Sr. of Texarakna and Levester Burnett Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.; five sisters, Willie Mae Fields of Little Rock, Dorothy Manning of Carson, Calif., Cloteial Umoka of Texarkana and Gloria Burnett and Annie Johnson of Hooks; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Red Bank Baptist Church, Hooks, with the Rev. Johnny Walker officiating under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
