VERONICA KEENER

Veronica Ann Thomas Keener, 62, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Keener was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Maud, Texas. He was a retired Red River Army Depot. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Henry E. Keener of Texarkana; three sons, Don Allen Noel Jr. and Jeremy D. Noel of Texarkana and Rodrick Smith of Dallas; one daughter, Amanda Cook of Ashdown, Ark.; eight brothers, Leon Thomas of Maud, Larry Alexander of Texarkana and Terry Thomas, Leroy Alexander, Preston Alexander, Barry Alexander, Eric Alexander and Sean Alexander of New Boston, Texas; five sisters, Doris Shields of Maud, Tina Burton of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Belinda Thomas, Elaine Alexander and Lorraine Hill of New Boston; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Unity Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. David Boone and James Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
