Donald Bounds

Donald Leo (Don) Bounds, 87, of Texarkana, TX, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 12, 2018, in a local hospital. He was born February 15, 1931, in Denver, CO. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was the retired owner of Bounds Lawn Care. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, the Trinity Troopers Senior Choir, and the Loving Friends Sunday School class. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, C.C. and Mary Bounds; his parents, Edna and Leo Bounds, Sr.; his wife, Betty Bounds, and two daughters, Donna Lea Bounds Calloway and Mary Beth Bounds McVay. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Clyde and Dianne Bounds, and Morris Bounds; one daughter, Candace Bounds; one brother and sister-in-law, Leo Jr. and Yoli Bounds of Prescott, AZ; 8 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Chapel, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
