JESSIE McKINNEY

Jessie Mae Wreyford McKinney, 88, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, in a local hospice. Mrs. McKinney was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Texarkana. She was a retired school teacher, owner of Holiday Fashions and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. A. Ross McKinney. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Burns Barr, Patricia Edwards and Linda and William Lishman of Texarkana and Sherry Olivas of Kyle, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
