DAWN McMURPHY

Dawn McMurphy, 56, of Charlotte, N.C., died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at her home. Ms. McMurphy was born Jan. 18, 1962, in Texarkana. She was retired from Neiman-Marcus. Survivors include one daughter, Paige Benson; her mother, Carolyn Hanson; her father and stepmother, Jarome and Charlie McMurphy; two nephews, Nick Parker and Jordan Parker; one aunt, Kay Rochelle; one uncle, Boyce McMurphy; two special friends, Cindy Natale of Shreveport, La., and Michael Parker of Redwater, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Biker Church with the Rev. Johnny Rounsavall officiating under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
