David Lester Giles, 66, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Giles was born March 9, 1952, in Texarkana. He was retired from Cleve Batte Construction Company and a member of Texarkana Boots and Saddle Club, Texarkana Trail Riders and Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Rita Giles of Texarkana; one sister and brother-in-law, Gail and William Rollins of Texarkana; and five nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
