SYBIL McBRIDE

Sybil Harris McBride, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, October 6, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. McBride was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Harris, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Red-water Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie McBride; and one granddaughter, Morgan Seals. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Lisa McBride of Maud, Texas, and Doug and Marti McBride of Texarkana, Ark.; two sisters, Marinell Hubele and Margaret Coleman of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren, Ryan McBride of Texarkana, Ark., Stefan McBride of Little Rock, Ark., Ethan McBride of Aberdeen, Md., and Heath Seals of Maud; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Powell officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.
