NEW BOSTON, Texas—Hazel Elizabeth McCright, 92 of New Boston died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at a local hospital. Mrs. McCright was born Oct. 24, 1925, in New Boston. She retired as a teller from First National Bank and was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and Friendship Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband D.D. "Buddy" McCright; two sons, David McCright and Danny McCright; and one grandson, Phil McCright. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Manley and Pat McCright of Midlothian, Texas, and Jimmy and Bettie McCright of New Boston; one brother, Decker Kennington of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Marie Robertson of New Boston; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Ken Cox and Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery under direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
