Jerry Bilbo Jenkins, 82, of Fouke, Ark., died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, in a Shreveport, La., hospital. Mr. Jenkins was born July 29, 1936, in Indianola, Miss. He was a retired carpenter, a member of First Assembly of God, Fouke, and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Jenkins; and one son, David DeWayne Jenkins. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rudy and Paulette Jenkins of Genoa, Ark.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Gwendy and Charlie Bray and Deborah and Terry Crossland of Fouke, Susie and Floyd Donaldson of Marreo, La., and Jerrie "Peanut" and Ronny Brisendine of Plaquemine, La.; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church, Fouke, with the Revs. Keith Barr and Lavon Piker officiating. Burial will be in Fouke Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
