PAUL MARTIN

Paul Edward Martin, 77, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at his home. Mr. Martin was born Sept. 24, 1941, in Waldo, Ark. He was retired from the Navy, a welding foreman with Brown & Root and a member of Eylau Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, John Paul Martin; and one grandson, Kevin Andrew Guy. Survivors include his wife, Lila Martin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Connie Martin and Glenn and Renee Martin; one daughter, Mary Martin King; one brother, John G. Martin; one sister, Judy Ann Martin; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Victory Life Church with the Rev. Landon Heinen officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Bodcaw, Ark., under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
