JOHN DICK

DeKALB, Texas—John Terrance Dick, 69, of DeKalb died Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mr. Dick was born June 15, 1949, in Huntington, Ind. He was a retired supervisor with Red River Army Depot, a former postal worker and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Greg Dick. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Dick of DeKalb; two sons, Mark Dick of DeKalb and Marty Dick of Little Rock; three daughters, Jennifer Davis, Wanda Culpepper and Terrie Dick of DeKalb; one brother, Tony Dick of Bauxite, Ark.; one sister, Rebecca Ramsey of Benton, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bates Family Funeral Home with Dwight Nevill officiating. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
