HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Mattie Brown, 65, of Dixon, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at her home. Ms. Brown was born Dec. 23, 1952, in Tulsa, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Brown. Survivors include three children and spouses, Tammy and John B. Cox, Teresa and Russ Gilliam and Billy and Jenn Brown; six grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Dennis Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online registration is at reeder-davis.com.
