Vestell Royal

HOPE, Ark.—Vestell Royal, 66, of Hope died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at his home. Mr. Royal was born June 28, 1952, in Kaufman, Texas. He was a truck driver and an usher and member of New Testament House of Prayer. Survivors include his wife, Christine Royal; two sons, Donnie Fletcher Sr. and Takary Royal; five daughters, Lolita Smith, Adriane Crawford, Dewana Wisdom, Lola Smith and Sharonda Royal; his parents, Era Franklin and Joe Royal; one sister, Ruby Davis; five brothers, Sylvester Wallace, Kenny Royal, Al Royal, Willie Royal and Curtis Royal; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at New Testament House of Prayer, Hope. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery, Fulton, under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. today at the church.
