GLADYS McGUIRE

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Gladys Marie McGuire, 97, of Snyder, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018. Mrs. McGuire was born Oct. 4, 1920, in Wellston, Okla. She was a former Red River County Tax Assessor Collector, former elder in New Shamrock Presbyterian Church, and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She aws preceded in death by two husbands, Shealith Clark and Malcolm E. McGuire; and one son, William G. McGuire. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Malcolm E. Jr. and Renee' McGuire of Pearland, Texas, and Don R. and Rosetta Clark of Aloha, Ore.; one daughter, Jerry and Charles Mullis of Snyder; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Aikin Grove Cemetery with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will be under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
