RANDY JONES

Randy Brooks Jones, 70, of Wake Village, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, in a local hospice. Mr. Jones was born Dec. 15, 1947, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a retired coach, insurance agent and insurance adjuster, a member of First Baptist Church and an Army National Guard veteran. Survivors include his wife, Judy Choate Jones of Wake Village; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dustin and Christin Jones of Fort Worth, Texas, and Cory and K.C. Jones of Texarkana; one sister, Bobbye Kay Lemmerhirt of Texarkana; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will follow services at the church.
