De QUEEN, Ark.—Marlene Dannette Alspaw, 50, of De Queen died Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Alspaw was born May 23, 1968, in Bakersfield, Calif. She was a Master Plumber. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dextin and Whitney Wheeler of Dierks, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Dara and Brent Barnett of Magnolia, Ark.; her mother, Marlene Alspaw of Ashdown, Ark.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Duane and Stacey Alspaw and Duke and Susan Alspaw of De Queen; one special friend, Lisa Adcock; two grandchildren; four nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Chandler Funeral Home with Duane Alspaw officiating. Burial will be in Redmen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
