JO ANN TANKERSLEY

ATLANTA, Texas—Jo Ann Tankersley, 79, of Bivins, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Tankersley was born Dec. 27, 1938, in Avinger, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Atlanta Seventh Adventist Church. Survivors include her husband, Paul Tankersley of Bivins; two stepsons and one stepdaughter-in-law, Wade and Denise Tankersley of Queen City, Texas, and John Tankersley of DeLand, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Lisa Bowers of Hamilton, Mont.; three grandchildren, Jeremy Tankersley, Andrew Tankersley and Katy Tankersley; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethsaida "Y" Cemetery with John Taylor officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
