Jamel Wayne Hughes, 33, formerly of Dallas died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. Mr. Hughes was born Dec. 13, 1984, in Dallas. He was a member of Bethel Temple COGIC, Fort Worth, Texas. Survivors include one daughter, Madison Renee Hughes of Arlington, Texas; his parents, Brenda Hughes and John Hughes; one sister and brother-in-law, Keyshala and Perry Phenix of Dallas; his grandmother, Hazel Perry of New Boston, Texas; and two special friends, La Donna Royal and Skylynn Payton of Grand Prairie, Texas. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Prosperity Baptist Church, New Boston, with Roy Hooks officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Prosperity Cemetery under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
