EARNEST HARTLINE

DeKALB, Texas—Earnest Paul Hartline, 76, of New Boston, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas nursing home. Mr. Hartline was born July 14, 1942, in Doddridge, Ark. He was a retired Small Arms Supervisor with Red River Army Depot and a charter member and treasurer of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, New Boston. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Parker Hartline of New Boston; one son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Kristie Hartline of New Boston; one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Caleb Crain of New Boston; two brothers, Jerry Hartline and Johnny Hartline of Doddridge; two sisters, Mary and Jonny Strickland of Bloomburg, Texas, and Margie and Eddie Thompson of Marlowe, Okla.; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, New Boston, with the Rev. Anthony Tropp officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to Family Life Center, 301 N.
