MARTHA BAKER

Martha Agnes Baker, 74, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, in a local hospice. Mrs. Baker was born Aug. 13, 1944, in Foreman, Ark. She was retired from Pilkington Glass Co. and a member of Central Baptist Church and Joy Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Baker, and a son, David Baker. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Shannon Baker of Texarkana; one brother, Billy Bridges; four grandchildren, Emily Edwardes, Zach Baker, Aaron Baker and Ashley Baker; three great-grandchildren, Alli Edwardes, Luci Edwardes and Kallen Baker; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
