Enora Rena Richardson Cooper, age 91, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, in a local nursing facility. Mrs. Cooper was born June 25, 1927 in Hawkins, Texas to the late Simon Richardson and Artie Missie Richardson. She married James Cooper who preceded her in death in 2003. She had one daughter who preceded her in in death in 2002 and has four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was saved under the leadership of Bishop T.L. Westbrook in Tacoma, Washington. Filled with the Holy Spirit that guided her, her prayer life gave her the opportunity to work in many capacities of the local church and was a Sunday school teacher, prayer and Bible Band President, and the Purity Girls President. She lived a life full of love and devotion, not only to God, but to those who were blessed to have known her. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Traylor officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
