KING HILL JR.

King Hill Jr., 79, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Hill was born June 6, 1939, in Texarkana. He was a logger. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Hill of Texarkana; two sons, King "Duke" Hill III and Jerry Lynn Tyson of Texarkana; two daughters, Sherry McChester and Tammie Blunt of Texarkana; four sisters, Betty Jiles of Atlanta, Texas, Mary Reeves and Paula Austin of Texarkana and Gwen Pickett of Los Angeles; two brothers, Gary Pickett of La Palma, Calif., and Don Pickett of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be noon Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Jordan officiating under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary.
