HOT SPRINGS, Ark.—Elsie Vanhook, 109, of Prescott died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019. Mrs. Vanhook was born April 20, 1909 in Antioch community, Ark. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Acie Vanhook Sr.; and three sons, Harvey, James Henry and Alvin. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Acie and Eserlean Vanhook of St. Louis, Mo.; and a number of other relatives extending to seven generations. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Munns Chapel Baptist Church under direction of Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
