MAGNOLIA, Ark.—Jerome "Gee" Box, 63, of Magnolia died Sunday, May 26, 2019, in a Shreveport, La., hospital. Mr. Box was born Oct. 5, 1955, in Cale, Ark. He was formerly employed with Firestone, Prescott, Ark., and AmFuel, Magnolia, former member of Bethel AME Church and a deacon with Agape United Church, Rosston, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Watson Box; four sons, Je'Quayus R. Box of Waldo, Ark., Deljuan Box Sr. of Hope and Bernard Box and Shaun Haynie of Rosston; one daughter, Tamika Anthonette Box-Hawthorne of Benton, Ark.; two sisters, Ollie Marie Jackson of Prescott and Deborah Ann Roberts of Hope; two brothers, Geoffrey Wayne Box of Rosston and Kelvin Box of Pine Bluff, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Willisville, Ark., with the Rev. Patrick Gulley officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, Rosston, under direction of R.L.
