Mildred Hudson, 95, of Texarkana, Ark. peacefully passed away on Feb 14th in Frisco, Texas. The vibrant and fiesty Mildred, was married to Karl Hudson for over 68 years, until he passed in 2012. Mildred owned her own business for over 50 years and worked until she was 82 years old. Her longtime clients all became her close friends, as she was extremely social and outgoing. She loved entertaining and giving Wedding and Baby Showers, as well as Birthday and Retirement parties for all her friends from church. Mildred was on the Welcoming Commitee of the Sunrise Retirement Community of Frisco, Texas where she lived for 8 years. She loved making ceramics, painting and making jewelry to give away to all of her friends. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for over 50 years as well as sang in the church choir and acted as church historian. She was blessed with her daughter Peggy and son in law, Jim Burg, and her granddaughter Cynthia Askins of Dallas, Texas. Her bonus step-grandchildren Bryan and Laura, step great great grandchildren Jennifer, Robert and Caroline and her step great great grandsons Ethan, Carter, Brendan, Colin and Dylan. She was also very close to her best friend and sister in law, Francis Burnett. She loved to visit with all of her nieces and nephews as a sense of family was very much important to her.
