Sharlotte Ann Steward

Sharlotte Ann Steward passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her home in New Boston, Texas. She was 74. Sharlotte was born April 12, 1946 in De Kalb, Texas to J.R. and Ola Cash O'Rear. She was a Homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard B. Steward, Jr.; and two brothers, Jerry O'Rear and Roger O'Rear. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Sara and Lee Shavers of New Boston, Texas and Angie Steward of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one son, Bryan Steward of Mesa, Arizona; two sisters-in-law, Donna O'Rear and Diana Bouse; seven grandchildren, Aislinn Lantrip, Ashtonn Lantrip, Annsleigh Shavers, Vince Steward and his wife, Sheena, Corinne Steward, Evonne Parker and her husband, Duncan, and Zane Steward; one great grandchild, Everly Parker; two nieces; one nephew; two great nieces; one great nephew; many special cousins; and numerous other family members and friends. Private services will be Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Dr. Patrick Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas. A come and go visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
