MARGARET ANN LOONEY

Margaret Ann Looney of De Kalb, Texas passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at a Texarkana, Texas care facility. She was 87. Margaret was born August 10, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jack Morris and Mary Frances Kilgore Looney. She was a retired Library Aide for Southern Arkansas University. Margaret was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Muriel Grace Looney Roszelle; and one brother-in-law, Benny Roszelle. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph L. Looney II and Pat Looney of De Kalb, Texas; two nieces, Marietta Raney and Charlotte Roszelle; three nephews, Jack Roszelle, Joseph Looney III, and William Looney; two great nephews, Zane Looney and Elijah Looney; and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
